
Kirtan Kirtan is an ancient participatory music experience that can carry you effortlessly to a place of stillness. One of the oldest sacred music traditions of the world, kirtan calls upon sacred energies which serve to quiet the mind and bring us back to the center of our being. The purpose of this music is to get us out of our heads and into our hearts. Sunday Evenings 7:00-8:30 pm Kirtan is truly for everyone. There are no prerequisites, no religious beliefs that are needed to experience this music. Allow yourself to jump in, to experience the music, either by singing or by letting the sound wash over you. Please park at Sam’s Station (29th & Grant) and carpool or walk up 29th Street to Cedar & Fir. A small donation is requested for room costs. Bolsters, blankets, and chairs are provided.
